Canlove opened their recent solo exhibition last week at Los Angeles Gallery Time to Shine. I have seen the work of Canlove before, mostly known for their spray can flower bouquets made from recycled spray paint cans. I wasn’t expecting to see the new abstract pieces that were exhibited at Time to Shine Gallery. The abstract work was made in a similar process as the bouquets utilizing recycled spray paint cans. The difference was that the assembled abstract pieces were able to hit on something new for the artists. This new minimal aesthetic is a interesting progression for the artists and we are excited to see what they do next with it.
