Jurne and Matt W. Moore were in Los Angeles last month for the opening of “Graffuturism”. They were able to paint together and leave a beautiful collaborative mural behind in Los Angeles. The Mural was painted in Downtown Los Angeles and luckily for us Todd Mazer was able to document the mural and get us this amazing set of pictures. MWM utilized his geometric aesthetics to juxtapose with Jurne’s letter based blocks of text. Jurne who is known as being one of today’s best traditional painters of letters chose to work on a secondary series of his, the font and calligraphic text blocks that he is pushing farther with each piece. This is a perfect example of two artists be able to collaborate together yet maintain their own identities. Amazing use of the wall building upon each other the duo has left an amazing wall for downtown Los Angeles.
