Here is a preview of new work that will be exhibited from Alex “Hense” Brewer. The work titled “Drawings, Paintings, and Shapes” will be held at Reynolds Gallery in Richmond Virginia. Hense continues to push abstract work in new directions focusing on his mark as an artist and building new textures through that process. The new work pushes even further into abstraction compared to his previous work as his marks tend to cover the whole compositions instead of resting within it. These overall textures create density enabling the color to bring the pieces together.
