Augustine Kofie was in residence recently in Mexico not only painting a mural but also getting ready for a solo exhibition that will open tomorrow. In his most recent solo exhibition Yesterdays Advance, Augustine Kofie will exhibit new work as well as an installation at the inaugural opening of The Celaya Brothers Gallery in the Colina Roma Norte district of the cities capital. We are excited to be able to share these preview images with you ahead of the show. The title Yesterday’s Advance alludes to the vintage futurism style of Kofie, mixing yesterdays vintage and ephemeral aesthetics with tomorrows vision. Make sure to make the trip if you are in the capitol this month.
