Adrian “Smash 137” Falkner was in Detroit for his recent solo exhibition “Disclosure” which opened at the Library Street Collective. The artist was also able to paint a rooftop mural during his stay in Detroit. LBC was able to share with us some of the opening night pictures from “Disclosure”. An impressive new body of work that bridges the artists graffiti side with an abstract take. Smash is able to create the same energy with line and color that his street pieces capture. The latest in a series of artists making the trek to Detroit Smash was able to share his art with the city. Library Street Collective has been curating excellent shows recently at their gallery space. Disclosure was another example of today’s graffiti artists excelling in a gallery setting setting the stage for today’s contemporaries. The artist went into depth about his art in a recent interview with Artslant that it is definitely worth a read.
