L’Atlas recently exhibited new work in a solo exhibition titled “Structures” at Galerie Cedric Bacqueville. An impressive new body of work that although type based continues to become more cryptic. Monochromatic tones without color are reminiscent of his earlier work, yet these canvases are lighter nature with a more minimal feel. Replacing deep contrasts with soft fading forms L’Atlas is able to create grid like patterns of type. He also has a new book available documenting the last 10 years of his work.
