Here are some recent walls from the Duo Blaqk from Athens Greece. The duo which consists of Simek and Greg Papagrigoriou is able to take the decaying scenery in which the installations are painted, and add their mixture of typography and geometry. In these recent walls Blaqk has replaced the font with rough marks. Prehistoric almost scratchings and mark making are encapsluated within geometric compositions. This juxtaposition of rough markings across the decay of the city allows for a nice mixture of texture and metaphor. Great work as usual from Blaqk.
