I came across Sokem and Mr Jago’s first collaboration on flickr a couple weeks back and was very impressed. The great painting style of Jago as he pushed the background detail with his atmospheric and entrancing color as it allowed Sokem’s wild style to shine in the foreground. I was able to get some detail shots and a photo courtesy of Felix Braun of their most recent collaboration. Once again they absolutely killed it. This time around the Sokem used a more looser style allowing the duo’s styles to cohesively work together intertwining in and out background letters overlapping. Its great to see collaborations of this kind involving two great artists pushing two different styles into one painting and yet still be able to keep the letter based them relevant. Amazing work all around.
