Sten and Lex recently finished this monumental mural as part of the Outdoor Mural Festival in Rome. Known for their large scale portraits the duo has recently been working in a more abstract direction. Experimenting with form and composition this new mural extends an already impressive range of aesthetics from the artists. Being able to approach a wall in the same manner someone might approach a painting, not always having to create what is expected. Sten and Lex show that working with new ideas can be as powerful or more. We love the new direction as well as the new mural.
