Jaybo Monk is headed to California for his first ever Solo Exhibition in the golden state. The exhibition titled “Silent Listen” will be taking place at Soze Gallery Los Angeles. Jaybo was kind enough to send us some preview images of the paintings that will be in the show. He will also be in town working on an installation during his residency at Soze Gallery. The installation will be unveiled during the opening.
Jaybo Monk will be a nice addition to the already buzzing Los Angeles art scene. Jaybo’s work reflects the past as much as it does the now. Working within the moment Jaybo paints modern masterpieces. With the palette of the masters Jaybo bridges this with modern texture with imperfect beauty, alive and honest. Make sure to make the opening if you live in Los Angeles.
