Sambre-Jaguar Agile from THE MOUARF on Vimeo.
Here is a recent Video documenting Sambre’s recent Insitu intervention along the Seine in Paris. Working with his favorite medium of wood, and in this case reclaimed wood from what looks to be an abandoned building Sambre is able to utilize the discarded material for a wall installation. By taking the wood from the abandoned building and placing it into his installation Sambre is able to bridge two familiar canvases, the public space and also the forgotten spaces of abandoned buildings. It is always a pleasure to watch Sambre continue to push the space of urban art outdoors with the same rigor of graffiti yet with a different medium. Instead of a spray can he utilizes the sculptural aspect of our culture to engage the public space. Also a great video shot by the Mouarf that is worth a watch.
