Here is a recent wall painted by 108 and Aris in Civitanova Marche for the Vedo a Colori fest, 2014. One could look past a mural of this nature and fail to recognize the impressive play on form and the absence of it. Anti aesthetics focusing in and out of representation, form is suggested with shadows and broad black marks. The dark shapes against the bright yellow background punctuates contrast yet each artist adds subtle touches within the larger shapes. Overall impressive murals from both artists that if you are lucky lead to deep contemplation and appreciation for abstract.
