SURVIVE LA // MIAMI CAPSTONE from SURVIVE | ART + DESIGN | MMXIII on Vimeo.
Dont miss this chance to see “Refraction” and a collective body of new work from Fishe, Siner, and Dreye. Survive was a traveling exhibition that visited 4 cities across America and will end its journey in Los Angeles. Members of Los Angeles Crews LTS and KOG the artists tell their story in video and art. Evolving from young kids painting freeways and abandoned buildings the artists like so many others from our genre found a way to survive by painting. Refraction is a group exhibition from this collective that will showcase not only new work but celebrate a successful mission and tour throughout America. We wish them continued success and suggest you head out to the exhibition and support an important message.

Last year, SURVIVE chose Miami Art Basel 2013 to culminate our traveling exhibition, joining Miami with the larger series spanning New Orleans, Detroit, and Oakland.
Due to your overwhelming support and the momentum you helped build SUPERVIVERE DESIGN is producing a follow up exhibit during LA Art Week.
Curator and Creative Director James Whitcomb Riley explains, “Upon meditation, the ascending trajectory of SURVIVE forced a realization that has manifested through new mediums in a new year, with new art, in the origin of it all.”
As curator / creative director, and original member of the highly influential LA graffiti crews LTS & KOG, I am excited at the opportunities and possibilities of continuing to build together.
