Rae Martini is up next in Paris for the 100 days of Graffuturism at Openspace Gallery Paris. Rae Martini will be exhibiting new work with “Tortured Papers”. Rae Martini moves away from his expressionistic paintings and focuses this new body of work on paper pieces. Line work and graffiti play large roles in the pieces we have for preview. Taking inspiration from his years painting trains and walls Rae strips down his past influences to the basics. Working with multilayers of papers and detailed line-work Rae builds blueprint like renderings. This cross influence of graffiti, architecture and drafting create powerful images. Make sure you take the time to see the opening in Paris Jun 8th.
