Kidghe recently finished an Insitu installation during a trip to Vietnam. The installation made with wood and bamboo was installed in the rice paddies of Cu Chi a village outside of Saigon. It is always interesting to see artists install in nature as opposed to being installed in a street or industrial location. Utilizing local materials and working with the landscape Kidghe was able to build a rather rigid form in an organic setting. The result is an amazing sculpture that doesn’t encroach on its environment, but rather enhances it with its beautiful juxtaposition.
